New Idea for Viral marketing

Changes in our ideas again, we have two days left before present our project... But now we got new idea, and we decide to follow it. The idea is about competition on Facebook, YouTube or other social platform between student from EU who are from18 to 30 years old. They should prepare video, and share it between their friends, family and other people. The WINNER is a person who got most views on YouTube. Video should interest European student who are working, to work white and pay taxes. The winner will get "for example SU for the rest of their study from the TAX office."
This campaign will help us to interest people to know more about paying taxes and to share with other of this information.
The requirement of video: It's should be made by student from EU, it's should be in English, and it's should interest other student to pay taxes.

The idea is to show the difference between people lives, those who are not paying taxes and who do it. Video must show, how good life could be if you follow the rules, and motivate newcomers to register in SKAT and respect economy traditions of the country.

Screen must be divided into two parts. 1- will show one day with eyes of person who is not registered in SKAT and do not pay taxes, and 2 - one day with eyes of foreigner who pays taxes.

In video must be included such scenes as:

Revision of the message.

Since we want to inform European students on behalf of the tax office of what our target group has to do to come and study or work abroad, we wanted to choose a message that encourages people to choose to stay legally in a country, by paying also taxes and not working black, and live by their rules.
We decided to go with the message:
Move to Denmark, live by the rules, get integrated with the community.
Why we chose such a broad message
  • We want people to know that if they pay taxes, not only they receive advantages by being integrated in the Danish working society, but also receive some privileges by doing so.
  • Integration is important both to find new friends and new working places.
  •   If you’re planning a long term education while working after some years you can get SU like Danish students.

Usability test

Yesterday, we was also working with "usability" and "AIDA" tests.
We tested 3 people, and got three deferent result, which suggest that we still have work to
do.
Usability testing
§ Performance -- How much time, and how many steps, are required for people to complete basic tasks? (For example, find something to buy, create a new account, and order the item.)
§ Accuracy -- How many mistakes did people make? (And were they fatal or recoverable with the right information?)
§ Recall -- How much does the person remember afterwards or after periods of non-use?
§ Emotional response -- How does the person feel about the tasks completed? Is the person confident, stressed? Would the user recommend this system to a friend?
Before made testing we ask find answers on two questions:
  1.  Why do we pay tax?
  2.  What is the max. of tax we can pay?

Lukas Matias Melin
23 years. unemployed
Kristijana Gapsyte
19 years. student
Wei Xian
28 years. student
Performance
For all task spend max. 45 sek. Made 2 steps to find first answer, and one step for second…
Spend 5 min. for all task. Made 3 steps. Was looking for information in photo slides…
Spend 8 min. for all task. Made 6 steps before find the answer.
Accuracy
Didn’t made any mistakes
Made 2 mistakes, before find right answer
Made 4 mistakes. Went to the links for another web-sites.
Recall
Easy remember all steps
Can’t easy remember all steps. Made 1 mistake before find the answer again.
But easy remember where to looking for information on the second time.
Emotional response
“t was easy task… Web site is very clear, not a lot of text. And topics help a lot to find a right information. I feel relax and comfortable.”
“It wasn’t hard to find information, but fill little bit nervous when I was looking for second answer.”
“I was little confused. Spend a lot of time to find out answers.”

Website design

Today we also started the design of wordpress.
We'll upload the pictures as soon as we can.

In our website we want to give link to all the documentation / website that we think necessary.

http://skat.dk/SKAT.aspx?oId=79777
http://www.foreignersindenmark.dk/display.cfm?article=1000577
http://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/frontpage.htm
http://www.skat.dk/

Third day.

We got a message and a target group.
Now it's time for decisions.

First decision we took is that our website will be implemented in Wordpress.
The code will be PHP with the database written also in Wordpress.

We decided to make a simple guide for EU students on the basic questions a person could think of when they decide to move to Denmark.

Most precisely:

  1. live and work
  2. taxation
  3. must know

Second day. We have a message.

Today after a brief consulation with Lars, we decided to go with the message:

Pay the right amount of taxes, spare money in the end.

Why?

Two causes:
  1. If you pay too few taxes you´ll have to pay a considerable amount (c.ca 60%) of the debt owned.
  2. If you pay too many taxes your money will be frozen for months, untill the skat department pays you back.

Mindmap.

After choosing the T.G we did some mind-mapping of things we knew about taxes in Denmark.
We chose some information that could be relevant and interesting for EU students living and working in Denmark.

First day of hard work.

First day of work.
Day of decisions.

We chose our target group: European students living in Denmark.

And wrote down several messages:
  • Pay the right amount of taxes, spare money in the end.
  • Development and taxes go hand in hand.
  • Taxes are the future for our children.
